4th Post

I tried a new type of drawing I've never tried before and it's not looking so great -- I spent like 4~5 hours just drawing this much;; I'm trying to make it look better and do it faster but it's not working... I actually drew this like a week ago, and I got most of the clothes down now and I have an extra drawing, but this is the only drawing I have in my school laptop so I'll add the other ones sometime this week. When I'm done with this, I'm just going to post how I drew it.

Brief Description: For my 20% project, I will be posting my artworks and see how my drawing skills are getting better.

Overview of Project Proposal

1)        Project Objective

I want to see how my drawing skills are getting better and try on many different types of drawings as possible. I also want to show people some of my drawings and see what they think about them. I want to try different types of art.

 

2)        Project Rationale

 I am doing this project because I love drawing and I want to spend more time on drawing. I also want to try on different types of drawing and see which one I’m best at. There are people who don’t know many types of drawing, but I want to help them if I can. I want to see how my drawings are getting better as I draw more things in my blog. This is important to me because I always wanted to spend more time on drawing.

3)        Project steps

-Post the drawings and explain how I drew it.

-Search for different types of drawings and post one of each types of drawings.

-For some types of drawings that takes long time, post the ones I’ve done so far.

-Post some videos on me drawing or other videos on drawing.

2nd Post- Art Exhibit, Oil Lamp

I finished working on designing "Art Exhibit". I worked on 3 drawings this week, which is Art Exhibit, Oil Lamp, and Elsa. I am planning to draw Elsa again, because it's too shady and I need to fix it to look more like "Elsa". I am probably going to post Elsa next week, and I am planning on drawing on tablet next week, but if it doesn't work, I am planning to draw manga or chibi.

 

1st post- Starting the Blog

This semester in my language class, I will be doing a "20% project" and I decided to spend more time in drawing. I decided to name my blog "art exhibit" because I was working on designing the letters and I am working on designing "art exhibit" now. I will post my drawings here that I will work on during my 20% time in the class.

I wanted to do building things since so many people's doing art blog, but it was hard to build something during the class and bringing things in, so I decided to draw the whole time. I might post some of the things that I build, but I will spend majority of time on drawing.

I will probably drawing the most of them with my markers or just the pencil, because tablet's harder to use and it takes too much time to color everything. If I am going to color, most of them will probably be black and white.

I usually decide what I'm going to draw every week and work on them, so I will post some of them, too. I decided to do make it drawing blog so I can spend more time drawing - I don't have enough time to draw at my house because of all the homework and other things that I have to do.

I am so happy that Mrs. Browning decided to do this project because I can work on what I really want to do in class. My goal is to post as many drawings as possible and see how my drawing's improving over this semester.
